alcohol in Las Vegas. It is important to be aware of what is permitted and what is prohibited.
The legal drinking age is 21. You must present a government-issued photo
ID to prove your
age when you enter a dayclub, nightclub, strip club, ultra-lounge, etc. By law, the clubs in
Vegas cannot and will not admit patrons under 21 – even if you don't "plan" to drink.
Open containers are legal on the Las Vegas Strip, allowing you to sip and
stroll, but what's
not legal are glass containers.
Everyone knows drinking and driving is against the law, and along those
lines, you cannot
drive with open containers or take them onto any public transportation, such as an Uber, Lyft,
taxi, or bus.
You can take outside beverages into any casino (and drink as you walk
around), but outside
beverages are not allowed at any of the licensed venues like nightclubs, Vegas strip clubs, dayclubs, lounges, bars, etc.
